Beverly Carbaugh, Ed.D, is Senior Consultant and Advisor with Learning Sciences Marzano Center. She is a visionary leader and educator with nearly 30 years of experience as a successful problem solver, curriculum leader, school administrator, and strategic planner for school improvement at both the school and district levels. Recently named Senior Fellow by company CEO Michael Toth and Executive Director Dr. Robert Marzano, Dr. Carbaugh has oversight of the center’s cadre of staff developers. She is a nationally recognized speaker and presenter and provides support to schools and districts that are implementing the Marzano evaluation models.
Dr. Carbaugh received her Doctorate of Education in Education Leadership from the University of South Florida and has a long history of improving teacher and student achievement at all levels, working as a teacher, a principal throughout Florida, and deputy superintendent of Florida’s Osceola County. She also has extensive experience in professional development and supervision of diverse learning groups.
Her expertise includes executive leadership in human resources and business/finance departments with oversight of professional development.
