Jacque Cooke is a veteran educator with over four decades of experience in the public school setting. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of West Florida and her master’s degree in School Guidance from Troy University and Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. She has worked as a classroom teacher, guidance counselor, teacher on special assignment at the District level with Head Start, assistant principal and principal. Her teaching experience includes classrooms 1-5 and algebra at the junior high school level. She has a strong passion for teacher effectiveness and understands the profound impact it has on student success.
Since discovering the Marzano models, she found the perfect framework to guide teachers with their professional development. Mrs. Cooke utilizes her past experience as a school administrator using the Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model to help guide and lead others in providing actionable growth feedback and coaching to teachers. She has witnessed the effect that strong leadership, the establishment of a collaborative culture and the professional growth of teachers has on instructional effectiveness. Since retiring, Mrs. Cooke continues to pursue her love for education working with teachers and administrators to improve teaching expertise that has a positive impact on student achievement.
