Mark Taylor, EdD, is in his 33rd year of education having served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, curriculum director, and assistant superintendent and many years long the way coaching basketball, football, and track. Mark is a proven leader in the development of district and building level instructional leaders including the superintendent, district level directors, building principals, and district instructional facilitators. He developed, implemented, and then providing training for his district’s current evaluation system based on Dr. Robert Marzano’s Instructional Frameworks. Mark also implemented inter-rater reliability trainings in teacher observations using the district’s evaluation framework.
Mark has extensive applicational and training experience leading teams in school and system AdvancED Accreditation. Mark has been a Lead Evaluator for AdvancED for many years helping schools around the world in their school improvement processes. Mark is a practitioner. He has led two highly successful high schools and work extensively in the district office of one of the highest achieving districts in the state of Wyoming. As an accomplished presenter internationally, nationally, and in the intermountain west, Mark has a passion for developing and growing teachers and leaders.
