Patricia LaMonica, MSEd, has spent her educational career pursuing her two great loves: learning and helping others become successful learners to achieve their dreams. Her career began in the classroom, but soon focused on district curriculum development and teacher training. After years involved with the development of programs from Pre-K readiness to K-12 literacy with an emphasis in secondary reading and writing programs and K-12 curriculum implementation, she fulfilled multiple school and district-level positions. In her school-level positions, she developed specific curricula for middle school magnet programs in mathematics, science, and language arts.
Ms. LaMonica went on to fill many administrative needs at the school and district levels, including secondary principal and curriculum division coordinator and secondary division administrator before helping educators across the country in her role at Learning Sciences. Ms. LaMonica’s professional career includes teaching at the graduate level in programs of educational administration, literacy and reading, and special education, as well as working with the Eighth Judicial Court as an educational surrogate for children. She earned her master’s degree from SUNY at Brockport.
