The world is rapidly changing. As teachers work to prepare students for jobs that don’t yet exist, administrators are working to help them shift instruction—and Title I Directors are working to ensure that rigorous instruction is available to all students so everyone can succeed.
This is what motivates us. We’re looking forward to attending the 2016 National Title I Conference in Houston, the only professional development event entirely devoted to Title I issues. It’s a privilege to meet with inspiring educators, leaders, and professionals, all engaged in meaningful discussions about the most critical and relevant educational topics that ultimately affect the future of this nation.
Attendees will enjoy fantastic keynote addresses, networking opportunities, updates from the U.S. Department of Education, peer discussions, real-world stories of Title I schools that have closed the achievement gap, and more than 100 sessions to help educators assure exceptional student performance schoolwide. They’ll also explore a wide array of innovative products and services that deepen and expand learning, including the RigorWalk™ initiative, which is already fostering whole-school improvement throughout the country.
RigorWalk is a one-day diagnostic consultation that gives leadership teams the insight, perspective, and actionable data they need to accurately and fairly identify what is and isn’t impacting learning in their schools. Through focus groups and classroom walkthroughs, they provide an onsite analysis that detects root causes and barriers to achievement so leaders can effectively measure the level of rigor taking place in each classroom.
Visit booth 551 to learn about this exciting initiative that help schools pave the way to student-driven instruction, putting all learners on the path to mastering the cognitively complex skills they’ll need in college and the global workplace.
That’s why we’re here. That’s why you’re here. We look forward to seeing you at the National Title I Conference.
