Christine Patton worked as a teacher, curriculum director, and school principal in Kentucky, both at high school and middle school level. She also served as the Director of Secondary Education at the Kentucky Department of Education.

In her tenure as a school administrator, she focused on increasing rigor, establishing intervention teams, creating teacher leaders, and implementing school-wide behavior management. For the greatest impact on student achievement, she believes principals are the key to teacher growth and support.

She has extensive experience leading professional development, conducting needs assessments, and creating and monitoring action plans. In her role as principal, she relied on daily walkthroughs and targeted PLC work to improve instruction.

Christine is most passionate about providing a clear, supported path to college and career readiness for each student, starting before students reach high school.
