Prior to joining LSI, Hasina served as a middle school principal, high school assistant principal, instructional coach, curriculum writer and teacher.  As an innovative educator, Hasina was credited with writing and piloting a conceptually based curriculum in addition to coaching teachers as they incorporated data-driven practices into their classrooms.

Hasina believes that all people, not only children, have room and desire to grow. She knows growth can occur when people feel connected to those around them, which allows for collaborative reflection.

Hasina holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a Master of Arts in Teaching, both from Emory University. Hasina also completed a business fellowship with the Rice University Education Entrepreneurship Program (REEP) for school leaders.
