Joanna Sozio has over twenty years in education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach at the elementary and middle school levels, and district coach. Joanna worked for the Department of Education serving both rural and urban school districts with an intense focus on school improvement. She finds working with teachers, coaches, and school-based leadership teams very rewarding as they start their journey to sustained school improvement. Joanna has coached school-based leadership teams to impact student achievement through standards-based instruction and effective teaching strategies.
Joanna received her Elementary Education degree from the University of Florida and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
