With more than 15 years of education experience, Deana Senn, MS, is an expert in instructional strategies and classroom assessments, an award-winning author and the research and development lead for Learning Sciences International, where she creates tools and resources to support instructional strategies including teaming and standards-based planning. Senn’s educational experience spans the Untied States and Canada in both rural and urban districts, including school and regional level. She is the author of several books in the Essentials for Achieving Rigor series including: Identifying Critical Content, Organizing for Learning and Engaging in Cognitively Complex Tasks. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and received her master’s degree from Montana State University.
