Thousands of Nevada students could receive higher quality education when they get back from the holiday break.

West Palm Beach, FL. – Dec. 8, 2021 – For the first time in its history, Learning Sciences International (LSI), the top national provider of K-12 academic turnaround systems, has attained top marks for its portfolio of services on its first-ever independent review. This outside validation means Nevada school leaders can use federal Title I, II, and IV funds on a wide range of LSI offerings to improve student learning.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) validated the company’s Accelerated School Turnaround (AST) model and Student Evidence Tracker (SET) as meeting federal Every Student Succeed Act evidence-based criteria at Level 3. They also validated LSI’s Instructional Leadership Institute and Metrics-based Monitoring and Support System as meeting Level 4.

“Congratulations to our entire research team for this huge accomplishment,” said LSI’s CEO, Michael D. Toth. “This independent verification confirms a level of research evidence that is very difficult to attain and is an important milestone for our Applied Research Center.”
