Founded by former university faculty and researchers, Learning Sciences International employs only the most highly qualified professionals as staff developers—those with extensive real-world classroom experience.
Theresa Staley has spent 16 years in public education as an elementary and middle school teacher and supervisor of district-wide curriculum, grades K-12. Within those roles, she has worked as a professional development leader, grant writer, ELL supervisor, On Course administrator, coach, mentor, and interventionist. Theresa has been recognized by Learning Sciences International as a front-runner in core instruction, as her teaching strategies have been videotaped and shared nationwide. She possesses a diverse background on and attention to the specificities surrounding the Common Core Standards and classroom rigor.
Theresa works as a staff developer and blogger with Learning Sciences International, sharing her knowledge and expertise in multiple instructional and leadership capacities to empower others and increase student achievement. She is a steadfast advocate for students and teachers, unwavering spokesperson for literacy education, and dedicated voice for our marginalized populations.</p>
